THE BONES WE SHOULD HAVE LOST A LONG TIME AGO is based on a durational poem by the same name, written by the composer herself that was originally designed to be recited for hours by one or more performers. it should be repeated freely, with personally chosen breaks, repetitions, tempo or dynamics. the poem can be started at any point of the text and yet, every time, we will arrive to a similar meaning. different routes, always ending in the same atmosphere of the sounding words. this piece is a notated version of an imagined, improvised setting, how the poem could turn out when performed by these instruments and by this ensemble.
