Thea Soti releases the first single from her upcoming solo album “unEXIT” and simultaneously premieres a both poetic and disturbing music video filmed at the breath-taking scenery of the Bosphorus. The video was shot in Istanbul at the end of January during her artist residency at the Tarabya Cultural Academy, created in collaboration with Istanbul-based contemporary dancers Burcu Bilgiç and Ismet Köroğlu, and the Beraber Collective. unEXIT stands for moments and situations where we cannot exit – cannot leave our body, country, reality or unwritten social codes, thus constantly generating new escape strategies.
